Harambee Stars captain Victor Wanyama has been nominated for a prestigious award.

The Tottenham Hotspur midfielder has been nominated for the English Premier League African Player of the Month of January.
Wanyama will face off with Chelsea’s Nigerian winger Victor Moses and Manchester City’s Yaya Toure for the award.

Wanyama had an impressive January for his club and has been instrumental in their rise to second postion in the English Premier League (EPL).
With Wanyama in the side Spurs have the least number of defeats in the league.

The defensive midfielder has also managed to shield the Spurs defence thus giving them the best defensive record so far.
Kenyans will hope Wanyama can win the award for the month, even though Toure and Moses have been in blistering form for their clubs.
Supporters and fans can vote on various media platforms for their favorite player for the award.
