Masogange still arrested

Tanzanian Video queen who have featured in many music video of the new generation, 'bongo Fleva' Agnes Gerald who is popular known as Masogange has been languishing in jail while his case file being handed over to the Attorney General (AG).

Masogange (25) was arrested by the Military Policeof of Dar es Salaam Special Zone on charges of being involved in selling, transporting or using drugs.

Last week, she was expected to dock exalted but there were no results from the test made by the Government Chemist to show if she is using or she is not using these drugs.

Masogange’s advocate Nick Kitenge is still working on the case to make sure his client is taken to the court.

"Regarding delays of this case it’s because of legal procedures, so let the police do their investigative job and we will see the results of their investigation, these are law enforcement agencies and they are doing their job, they need time to investigate and to and come up with the reliable information, they are still working on it but we hope today they will have something to tell us about what is going on.” said Kitenge.
